Scout Opatut is an eighteen year old college freshman at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, and is studying Broadcast Journalism.
For the past three years, she has been studying improvisational comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC. In these classes, Scout learned that her parents are (relatively) sane compared to other adults.
These are the facts that Scout’s mother would like everyone, even the mailman, to know:
Scout has been an intern at CNN in NY, The New York Theatre Workshop in NY. Scout currently has a weekly radio show at WERS 88.9FM, and she is hoping that next semester she won’t have to do an overnight shift. Scout was on the high honor roll in 9th grade. Scout is the first kid in the state of New Jersey to legally have two moms. Scout was given the “Outstanding Choral Achievement Award” in 7th grade. Scout is enjoying college very much, and has a lovely view of the Boston Commons. During a trip to Nickelodeon Studios when she was five, Scout was picked out of the audience to be slimed. However, she started to cry and ran very far away, very fast.
Some of Scout’s interests include: dark chocolate, her 1988 Volvo 240 sedan, champagne, listening to music loudly, cleanliness, Europe, European royalty, vintage dresses, minty-fresh breath, and sleeping.
She really does not like it when people, especially her mother, Joan, sing out loud.
